About The Event:
The objective of the rigorous contest is to give you that Extra Edge
in your preparations by giving you an opportunity to compete and interact with
actual competition even before the D-day. This program will not only help you
identify and understand the gap you need to bridge before the actual entrance
tests to premier management institutes but also to equip you with the
standardized and objective tools to help you improve performances.
The Various Stages:
Phase 1:
Elimination Round
:April 13, 2009
The elimination round will consist of a multiple
choice objective type written test, generally consisting of questions covering
English Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and
Quantitative Analysis.
Phase 2: Elevator Pitch (For
Achievers) :April 15-17, 2009
Renowned American actress Helen Hayes once made a
very succinct observation on the difference between achievement and success.
While success brings external recognition and praise, achievement is the knowledge
that you have studied hard and worked hard, and done the best that is in you.
So, to aid you, who are achievers in our eyes, in that process of knowledge acquisition,
self fulfillment and ultimate attainment of goals, we sail you through the
various rounds of group tasks, group discussions, case studies and group
interviews. At this stage, you will be mentored and given regular feedback by students who have been through the process
To answer all your selection-related queries, will be two students who have successfully converted calls to premier B-schools: Nitin K.V. (IIM-B, I, L converts) and Paresh Dhokad (XLRI convert).
Phase 3: Selecting Mr.
Aristotle
:April 20/21, 2009
The shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews, conducted
by eminent faculty in the field. This round will enable you to form a clear notion
of what you want to do and where you want to be, so that you present a surer
and more confident self at the interviews. The student
who survives all the rounds, outperforms others and emerges victorious in the
battle, will be awarded the most coveted title ‘Mr. Aristotle’.
Your achievement is what matters most to us. Remember, what is finally
important is what you do with what you have. This program is an effort to
acquaint you with what you need to “have” in this journey of yours,
ahead. Always, “do” your best.
