Glider Flying Competition
COMPETITION:
The participants will have to fly an Apple Box R/C Glider to an appropriate height within two minute after
which the engine is turned off. He/She will have to glide the aircraft for maximum time and land it on the
given Bulls’ Eye in order to win the competition. Each team will be given two flights and one full tank fuel will
be provided for each flight. Time shall be noted after the engine is prepared for the flight. Different circles in
the Bulls’ Eye arena have their own score value.
1.Maximum of 2 members per team. Students from different colleges can combine to form a team.
2.Students of all branches from all academic institutions are eligible to participate.
3.Aggregate of the two results will be considered. In case of a tie, another flight will be given to the teams.
4.The decision made by the Judges will be final and binding.
5.Limited Number of teams will be allowed to participate. So, register your team at the earliest.
6.For registration mail to aeromodelling.literati09@gmail.com with complete contact details of all the team
members along with the institution you belong to.
7.A registration fee of Rs. 200/- per team will be charged.
8.Any misbehaviour or breach of conduct of code will lead to disqualification of the team from the event and
also their participation in other events in LITERATI ‘09 will be at stake.
9.The organizers reserve all rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in any
rule, if any, will be highlighted on the website and will also be mailed to all the registered participants.
