Attention !!!
All the participating teams must submit 3 hard copies of the Report to their respective event coordinators latest by Thursday, April 16, 2009. The teams from outside NITK must send the soft copy instead to ppt.literati09@gmail.com.
The selected teams must confirm their participation by submitting the registration fees to Prateek Goel (09896175349) by Tuesday, April 14, 2009. The teams from outside NITK must contact Prateek for the same. Waitlisted candidates will be allowed to participate in case any selected teams fail to confirm by April 14, 2009.
The final reports must be prepared in conformation to the IEEE standards as mentioned in the Rules and Regulations tab below.
1. A paper can be authored by at most two students.
2. The abstracts for the paper and queries etc. must be mailed at ppt.literati09@gmail.com
3. The Subject of the mail must contain the category i.e. "Electrovista".
4. A Sample Paper can be downloaded from
here5. Topics chosen that support the theme “Let’s go GREEN” will be appreciated, and may be given extra credits. However, teams should not have a bounding towards the theme.
6. Suggested topics are available now.
7. It is not necessary to present papers on topics only from the suggested ones.
Elimination Round :
Word limit for abstracts : 300 words
Abstracts must be in a single paragraph format only.
Note: The abstracts must necessarily sum up the essence of the final paper, including the thought process and the key ideas. Unnecessary usage of flowery language should be avoided.

Final Presentation :
Final presentation will be of 10 + 2 minutes.
For the purpose of standardization of the papers and improving the quality of presentations, students are advised to follow the guidelines below, as followed by the IEEE standards:
A4 paper size
Times New Roman, Font Size = 10, Interline space = 1.5 pt, Justified
2 column format compulsory
Margins : Top = 19mm, Bottom = 43mm, Sides = 13 mm
Column Width = 88mm, Space between columns = 4mm
Max. no. of pages = 8
Figures & illustrations appropriately numbered and indexed
References to be provided at appropriate places
A list of references to be provided at the end according to IEEE format
