So friends let go your inhibitions and set your creativity on a high b'coz we bring to you this recreational challenge in the form of Humbug... Judgement will depend on how obfuscated and creative your code is and how well it conceals evidence…. Rattle up your brains for this brainteaser !! As happiness lies in the joy of achievement and thrill of creative effort !!!
First Round: Prelims
- It is a written round.
- A number of multiple choice questions would be given to be solved in a stipulated time.
- The focus of the questions will be on basic c/c++ knowledge with more emphasis on analytical skills and creativity.
- Written Round is of 30 minutes, with most of the questions being multiple choice, while others would require logical reasoning and analysis.
Finals: On hands
- Few selected teams from first round compete in the hand-on round.
- You have to solve the given problems in a time of 2.5 hours.
- There will be 5-7 problems.
- The aim would be to submit the smallest code for the problem. The shorter the code, the more points you score.
Further details on the scoring system would be provided on the spot. - The decision of judges will be final and binding.
- As the emphasis is on getting the shortest code, hence, for each problem, you will be given all the judge input and expected output test data beforehand. You just have to write a program which produces those outputs for their corresponding inputs.
