MICROCONTROLLER CHALLENGE
Obscure and difficult, hard wear, attention to the smallest detail. An assembly programming challenge not for the faint of heart. Call forth all your mental powers for you shall need them to crack the running time and memory problems. Assembly level programming contest on the 8051 processor. Programmers are required to produce logical and efficient solutions to the challenges posed to them. The judgement will be made based on running time and memory requirements.
- Maximum of 3 members are allowed per team.
- Event will be conducted in two stages
- Model Presentation
- Coding round
- For registration you need to submit an abstract about your working model which includes all the necessary details in brief about your project like basic idea, components planning to use and working of the project.
- You can mail your abstract on uc.literati@gmail.com
- Last date of submission of abstract is 7th Jan., 2010. No entry will be entertained after end of the deadline.
- Short listing will be done on the basis of the abstract submitted by the participants.
- You can use any microcontroller for the event but only 8051 microcontroller kit will be provided by us for the coding round only. Participants need to bring their personnel programming kit for the coding round if they wish to perform programming on microcontroller other than 8051.
- Judgment is based on practical utility, innovation and working of the project.
- Coding round is based on assembly level programming. A separate on the spot problem statement is given for coding round.
- Same entry cannot be used in more than one event.
- Any misbehavior towards any organizer or team found violating any rule will leads to on the spot termination of entry without any prior warning.
- Organizers preserve all the rights for any change or modification in rules and regulations without giving any prior warning.
- Decision of event coordinator at all the points will be considered as final and no arguments will be entertained thereafter.
