Bored with that ubiquitous #include? Does your mind yawn and say, “Coding in C isn’t bad but I could do with a change.”? For the first time in NITK, Iris brings in the concept of unconventional coding. A language like no other in the familiar bandwagon would have to used to solve some otherwise easy problems.

Event Details:
1. A new programming language (a very unconventional one) shall be introduced, by a detailed workshop.
2. Only required commands and instructions of the language shall be introduced. And only those would be enough to solve the given problems.
3. The workshop will be of around one to one and a half hours followed by one hour break; after which the contest will begin. The duration of the contest will be 3 hours.
4. Teams will be provided with some problems and they will have to solve those problems using the new language.
5. No knowledge of complicated data structures or programming constructs shall be required.
6. No prior programming knowledge is required. The event is purely based on aptitude
7. The points of the problems shall be according to their difficulty.
8. A detailed manual of the language shall be made available to the participants which the teams can refer during the contest.

1. Each team consists of at most two members.
2. Event consists of only one round.
3. The round shall be a preceded by a short workshop on the new language.
4. Computers shall be provided; getting laptops is not required on the part of the teams.
5. All decisions of the event coordinators shall remain final and binding.
